Away Team Report:
Staines “A” yet again have Fraser to thank for the victory over a Walton team that our now staring relegation firmly in the face, Fraser defeated Rigby for the second time this season with another solid all round effort.
Earlier Rubik had taken the opening frame of the evening with lets say a unorthodox 30 clearance from the last red to black for one nil, A shell shocked Harvey didn’t allow what had gone before to affect him & with breaks of 28 & 32 he soon put the teams level.
Connors & Darken who have had many battles going way back to there Breaks snooker club days fought out a interesting one apiece, Darken won their first frame that Connors had lead by thirty & Connors won the second that Darken had a straight forward blue for frame, he left the blue over the middle pocket & Connors couldn’t fail to take the three remaining colours.
Staines would like to applaud Walton for there enthusiasm in playing & wish them well in there fight for survival.
