Away Team Report:
Staines "A" had to come from behind to register a 4-2 victory over the gutsy New Haw "A" team, Connors & Humphries opened up proceedings with a more then fair frame a piece, Fraser was next into action having to play both Dale & Collett, Dale who was suffering from a injured left foot didn't allow Fraser any breathing space & edged there frame on the pink with a cracking pot from distance. In the next the experienced Fraser wasn't going to allow the jovial Collett the same luxury stamping his authority early on with a break of 36 leaving Collett a up hill task which on this occasion he wasn't up too. The last game of the evening saw Harvey take on Mundy, Harvey was first amongst the balls with a break of 25, but a determined Mundy clawed his way back in front with three reds remaining, a long range effort from Mundy was to be his undoing, Harvey trailing by five points cleared the table complying a inch perfect break of 50 & in the process showing why the former two time championship winner is still a force when cueing well. Harvey completed the victory with a mid frame 27 break to keep the "A" team in the hunt.
