The scoreline flattered the home side and continued Oatlands poor run of luck. Jones winning a close first frame on the black and clearing the colours to the pink in the second to deny Mark Mcintyre in a match that he desreved to get something out of.
Martin Court comfortably won his first frame but looked sure to be beaten in the next before 'dishing up' with an outstanding series of potting to record a winning 32 clearance to steal it on the black.
The evening didn't get any better for the visitors with Tony Charlton playing 'out of his skin' to notch a magnificent 72 break before failing on the yellow and then dominating a scrappy second forcing Peter Mcintyre to concede with the colours remaining.
The star of the show was undoubtably Tony Charlton who played extremely well and looked very composed following a brief coaching session two nights previously.
