Tom got the C side off to the best possible start winning both frames against Martin Court. Martin playing very open snooker was not on his 'A' game and Tom took his opportunities, potting well and after winning the first comfortable battled well to score a good victory. Tony continued his post New Year run of good form levelling the match at 2 - 2 but not before Mark had chances to extend his teams lead. With the overall result revolving around the last match the opening frame was scrappy with both Danny and Kelvin struggling to dominate. Danny looked likely to win the first when 22 in front on the brown but followed in off after potting a length of the table brown. Kelvin kept his composure to pot an easy brown and then difficult blue, pink and black to put the B side 3 - 2 in front. Danny never recovered from his setback in the first and Kelvin took full advantage with three twenty plus efforts to run out a convincing winner.
Good luck to the C team in their struggle to avoid relegation.
