Home Team Report:
Another really good win for us following on from last season when we played Woking at Home! With good performances from Ian and our new team mate Nigel (who’s now won 4/4 so far) to forge a 3-1 lead, it was up to me to win 1 frame against Bunny to get us the win. Me and Paul both seemed badly out of sorts in the first with more missed opportunities from me than Paul.. Into the last and having built up a nice lead of 40 odd points with some good safety and a couple of profitable snookers I missed an easy left handed black on 7 having got in with a nice long red. From there Paul played a great first red to develop the black and be on it and proceeded to clear up all the reds with ease. But having got the yellow for 54 he missed the green played with a lot of left hand side to hold for frame ball brown! So without believing I had a 2nd chance I came to the table facing a left handed green up the cushion, so was relieved to get the 25 clearance to win on the black and keep my team’s winning record going!
