Away Team Report:
A visit to play the Woking team is always looked forward to. Not because of a likely good result more because you are sure to see a high standard of snooker from the home team.
The opening match were the only one's I saw so apologies to the other players involved.
Playing Paul Bunyard is always a challenge and last night was no different. Except that I really believe that he is playing exceptionally well this year. The frame scores in no way flattered him and the few points I gained were as a result of difficult shots. In the two frames when I wasn't faced with a well worked safety shot it was because he was at the table potting balls. The only time he missed was when his 59 break ended with a tricky shot to a middle pocket. His all round game was brilliant and he looks to have a hunger and desire to continue excelling. Long may it continue.
Thanks to Terry Teeman for refereeing all of the matches and to the club for a grand end of match spread. KJ
